About me

I'm 40 something years old, 6 foot 3 inches tall, and weigh an average of 175 lbs. I've done or tried to do a little bit of everything over the years, but have more or less settled down in the past few years.

I am a licensed engineer in computer software engineering and in mechanical engineering (automotive). Currently, I own and operate 2 companies in Oklahoma City. Secure Data Systems (includes OCS Software), specializes in government (including military), Law enforcement, and medical software, and the secure exchange of information. OCS Software is a part of SDS, but handles all other types of software (mostly utility and fun stuff).

Jem Performance began as a specialty shop dealing only with 1974 and older restorations and performance applications (race cars). Since 1977 I have been into drag racing, and rented a small shop to handle my own cars, and those of some friends. From there it kind of grew into a monster, and it now serves as a way to get away from these computers to do something that I truly love to do, build quick and or fast cars. From that business sprang the current purpose of the company which deals only with supercharged applications and the manufacturing of our own line of manifolds and kits for turbocharging and digital fuel injection applications.

I have held 2 NHRA national records in H super stock class with my 1970 Plymouth Duster. The Duster is named The Grape, and is (you guessed it) Plum Crazy purple with blue and red pearl. It has a 340 engine bored .030, a chrome crank, Crower rods, 13.7:1 compression teflon buttoned pistons, .686 lift 334 duration roller cam, and a 9 lb Weber aluminum flywheel among other things. It's best time to date is 11.23 at 126.8 MPH.

My current surprise package for the street is a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000 GT SL-T. It features a turbo kit designed and built by us and is in the early stages of testing and refinement.
